New Miss America sits down with Megan Alexander!

Saturday night we saw the new Miss America crowned live in Las Vegas! Congratulations to Miss Wisconsin, Laura Kaeppeler. Laura is in New York this morning and just left the Inside Edition offices where our very own Megan Alexander had a chance to sit down and talk to her about the exciting weekend and what's in store for her in 2012. May 16 - Thank you-and thanks for ALL you do. I wish there were more pageants like NAM. I have to admit that when we came last year I was a little hesitant (of course from the bad publicity of T&T on t.v.), however after experiencing last year I was so happy we did it. It was a great experience for Bella and she is SSSSOOOOO looking forward to this year. She has been practicing her speech since the first magazine came out! lol! ~ Carol M.
May 15 - I cannot thank enough the National American Miss appointed queen judges for honoring me with the title of National American Miss Indiana Teen! May 3 - In all the years my daughter has being doing NAM, we have never spent much on clothing, and in fact use some of the same outfits. NAM has given Marissa so much confidence and it has taken her very far. thanks NAM. ~Penny D.
Apr 13 - NAM doesn't do swimwear in their pageants. That's one of the reasons I allow my 16 year old daughter to do them. NAM is awesome for making girls feel like they are all the best! They have helped make my daughter who she is today. She used to be shy, but now she's outgoing and currently holds the title of Miss Rio Linda for our hometown! Something she would never have done if she had not done NAM before. This will be get 4th year doing it, and I hope she wants to do this until she is no longer able to! Can't say enough about NAM and how thus pageant is run and how is helps girls to become the best they could possibly be!! ~ Cary M.
Apr 10 - I'm so grateful to National American Miss for the skills and confidence it has instilled in me. I was just accepted to my dream school UCLA, and with only 15 spots available in my program, I'm positive the experience of NAM gave me my competitive edge. I highly encourage every girl to try National American Miss. You will walk away with lifelong skills that will prepare you for job interviews, school, etc and the most amazing friends you could ever dream of. Jan 24 - Thank you so much for all your amazing advice at Nationals about networking and maintaining those connections. Thanks to your advice as well as the preparation and confidence NAM has given me, I am now working for Discovery Studios, the production company for the Discovery Channel! Dec 7 - Just to let you know, NAM has really done wonders on my daughter Josey. Last night she had her first band concert (french horn) and she was calm and confident. She said some of the other kids were nervous and she helped to keep them calm. The pageant really helped Josey cope with situations that are out of her comfort zone. ~Kelly O.
Dec 6 - Hiiii! How are you??? I did the NAM pageants for 4 years!! ((: this weekend I got accepted to Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee IL!!! ((: I am very excited for this new phase in my life! I enjoyed doing the pageants and will miss them! ~Leslie P.

Nov 22 - I am having fun at nationals in california!!! i already did my talent, spokesmodel and modeling and now I have the pageant things the rest of the week but today we went to disneyland and tomorrow we are going to california adventure and maybe back to disneyland... ~Bella Grace M.
