VERNON HILLS - The reality TV show “Toddlers and Tiaras” is nothing like the pageants three local pageant queens compete in.
While the TV show features children who wear
elaborate make-up and hairstyles, none of the three girls who are
advancing to compete in the National American Miss Pageant next month
are even allowed to wear make up.
“They just want you to be yourself. You are supposed to be yourself,” said Tatum Pearlman, 7.
