Saturday, January 23, 2010 people gathered at Youth 1st Counseling Services/ Metropolitan Family Services, both of Roseland, along with DCFS to collect and sort donations for displaced Haitian children that were being relocated to Chicago. Among those volunteering was your
2009 Miss Illinois Princess Imani Muse.
Her Saturday morning was spent helping others in need. People started dropping off donations early that morning and Imani and others got to work. After the donations were separated into piles, they were then folded and packed to be shipped to the different locations throughout Chicago!
